Professional Profile
Hugo Burgos has been serving as the Dean of the Graduate School at Universidad San Francisco de Quito (USFQ) since 2015, overseeing 31 graduate programs. Previously, between 2004 and 2015, he held the position of Dean of the College of Communication and Contemporary Arts at USFQ, supervising 11 undergraduate degrees and state-of-the-art film, multimedia, and art facilities. Dr. Burgos is actively involved in researching the state of higher education in Latin America and has been part of national and international discussions on higher education for the past 14 years.
