About the Publication

Para el Aula (For the Classroom) magazine is a quarterly educational publication. It comes in an electronic and printed format.

Para el Aula was born in USFQ's Institute of Teaching and Learning (IDEA) with the idea of filling a communication gap for Ecuadorian educators. The magazine has been published for six years now, and was first published in March 2012-- each issue has been created with the most up-to-date information from the educational sciences, the collaboration of the IDEA team and the constant support of USFQ. In addition to being a communication channel between teachers, Para el Aula aims to be a quality benchmark in relevant and current information about learning and teaching.

The Institute of Teaching and Learning (IDEA) is made up of a group of educators convinced that education is the main path to development. This dynamic group had the initiative to create a well-deserved space for educators in general to have the opportunity to grow professionally and be updated with quality information.

Claudia Tobar has led this project with the support of a large number of teachers, professionals, published authors and educators in general, who collaborate in each edition sharing experiences and knowledge in order to make Para el Aula the only Ecuadorian publication of educators for educators.
