Francisco Javier Cabrera Aulestia holds a Ph.D. in Biological and Chemical Sciences for Health from the Université de Montpellier (France) and a Master's degree in veterinary medicine, with a mention in Pathology, from the Universidad Central de Venezuela. At the Universidad San Francisco de Quito (Ecuador), he serves as a professor at the College of Health Sciences, coordinates the Histopathology Service of the Animal Health Laboratory of the Institute of Tropical Biodiversity (IBIOTROP), and chairs the Ethics Committee in Research and Teaching with Animals at USFQ (CEIDA-USFQ).
